A lot of the pages here are just meant to be lists or short guides that you can pull up on your phone or computer while playing the game! While a lot of the mechanics and info about MHST aren't necessarily obscure, some of them are hard to pick up on while playing the game, and Google's search functionality is... pretty bad at actually finding any info about it. A good majority of resources and info on MHST are scattered across various Reddit and Gamefaqs threads or stuck behind Discord servers, making trying to figure anything out really frustrating.
The information here should be relevant to both the original and remastered versions of MHST, but there will be some times where the information is only relevant to one version of the game.
Additionally, I don't have any info about MHST 2 or 3 here. I'm mainly interested in the first game, and plenty of other people have gone over/will go over all the details for the sequel games.
This is intended to be a fan website for Monster Hunter Stories, so nearly all images used are from either MHST itself, or other games in the Monster Hunter series. For instance, the triangle borders are edited together from a pattern on the quest listings in Monster Hunter Generations. As such, all images are owned either by Capcom, or created by me.
As of right now I have no plans of incorporating any GIFS/animations to any of these pages, so there shouldn't ever be any moving/flashing images onscreen. I might try to make different colored site themes in the future, for light/dark modes and higher contrast modes, but that takes Javascript knowledge, which... I do not have at the moment. But I think it'd be fun to make a bunch of themes based off different monsters!
